How CuteLittleURL works
We turn long, forgettable links into short ones you can actually say — cute, memorable, and ready to share. Here's what happens behind the scenes.
1. You paste a long link
Drop any http/https URL into the shortener. We validate and
screen it (see safety) before creating
anything.
2. We generate a cute little slug
Instead of random characters like a1B9zQ, we build a three-word slug —
character + texture + noun — such as
grumpy-velvet-otter or dreamy-crispy-comet. Memorable,
pronounceable, and pleasant to share in a bio, a tweet or out loud.
3. You get a link + a matching QR code
Your cute little URL redirects instantly (a clean 302 — no interstitial, no "wait 5 seconds"). Every link also comes with an on-brand QR code you can download as PNG or SVG.
Want a custom name?
You can request a custom alias instead of a generated slug — lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. If it's taken or reserved, we'll let you know.
No accounts, no tracking
CuteLittleURL is free with no signup. We don't build profiles of you; your recent links live only in your own browser (local storage), so clearing your browser data clears them.
Give it a go — it's free and instant.
